C611001-XXXX Flat Connector

New Cessna voltage regulator harness with 4 position flat automotive connector and over/low voltage warning indicator.  Includes shielded 18 AWG M27500-18TE1T14 Tefzel wire and TYCO polyvinylidene fluoride S01-0X-R shield terminations.  "A" and "F" wires have TECHFLEX fiberglass sleeves positioned under 4 cylinders to help deflect heat .  MS25171 boots are included for the filter and alternator "F" terminal.  Alternator switch and indicator wires can be shipped unterminated when specified.

  • OVER VOLTAGE SENSOR is a must!  If you are upgrading an old system with a new voltage regulator without built in over voltage protection, consider adding an OVS.  
  • Schematic for a typical Cessna with 4 position automotive connector.
  • Shield Grounds:  Audio panel manufacturer knowledge about ground loops and RF noise is considerably advanced today compared to the 1960's.  This is why my harness shields are daisy chained at the V/R connector and terminate to a single point ground under the regulator mount bolt.  I can terminate shields at each end of every wire per 1960's technology upon request.

C611005 Series

Zephtronics R25400 and Lamar DGR3-1 style later model Cessna ACU wiring diagrams exclude lengths.  Building this harness will require customer provided measurements or the old harness for reproduction.  Generic harnesses are available for aft and forward mounted alternators.  Shielded wiring upgrade available.

C611001-XXXX Flat Connector Replacement

Want to update your old automotive style regulator?  This harness replaces the flat connector used by Cessna with TYCO PIDG #4 ring terminals required by the R1224B.  Plane Power does not recommend keeping the RF filter typically below the original regulator, so the Enable wire connects straight to the alternator field switch(Split MASTER outboard side).  All 18 AWG shielded wiring includes TYCO shield terminals.  


It's important to understand the R1224B over voltage protection operates different from the original Cessna regulator schematic.  Cessna LAMP power must be sourced from a different breaker than the field breaker.  More here.  Split Master Hook Up.

ER14-50 Alternator Conversion

Plane Power voltage regulator harness for converting a generator to geared alternator ER14-50 with shielded wire and correct Sumitomo sealed connector 6189-0443.

C611005-XXXX 7 Position Connector

Adaptor harness for the TYCO Econoseal 7 position connector used with Cessna C611005-0101, C611005-0102 and C611005-0103 voltage regulators.  Replace your old regulator with the R1224B.  Includes over/low voltage warning indicator pin 4.
