Set with optional flat braid.
Early 150 and 172 Cessna's terminated the battery ground braid at the nearest engine mount isolator bolt. By the late 60's the battery ground was moved below the battery to a firewall bracket. Item 10A is the photo to the left shows ground strap 0412007-8 installed between the engine and engine mount. Relocating the battery ground and bypassing the engine mount isolator provided a much better ground path for the starter and alternator. Owners of older models should seriously consider updating to the later model dedicated battery and engine grounds.

Stack harnesses are hand tied with each wire group such as audio, lighting, powers and grounds combed out separately to ease installation. There are cheaper ways to do it, but none more sanitary and organized. Avionics harness quotes include only wiring and my labor.
Buyer Beware: Garmin does not sell their threaded backshell retainer separately. This is due to customers buying installation kits for competitor slide in replacements of Garmin units. ITT Cannon M85049/48 style backshells were designed to be attached from the outside. Garmin's threaded backshell retainer is proprietary and manufactured for Garmin connector screws to attach from inside the trays. If you buy used Garmin avionics, make sure the seller sends all associated connectors and mounting hardware.
This approximate estimate of a typical stack includes my labor and wiring only for 4-6 place audio jacks with music soldered, dual NAV indicator break outs and encoder break out.
Add $150 to mount your encoder to your transponder tray. See gallery below.
